well i think you have nailed the design, it is simple, yet open for interpretation, its not linear but the crisp aesthetic quality conveys that degree of professionalism.
as far as colour schemes go, i like the way that v1.04 is depicting the natural colours of a golf course and surrounding scenery. of course, this is just my interpretation. that colour scheme is defiantly the most logical and relevant, to me anyway, company may have other thoughts of course.
all in all, it is a fantastic design that is nicely balanced, the cropping of the logo on top of the text also gives a well scaled design, without it reading to heavily on the height of it.
